Romans v Parthians

Game 15th June 2023.

Romans defending. Everyone armoured . ALL ON FOOT.
Parthians attacking. Lots of armoured plus lots of skirmish cavalry. ALL ON HORSES.

The two armies  looked at each other  and the Parthians charged a Roman zone.
These two zones bashed it out for 3 turns.
The rest of the armies looked on.

The Romans rolled  better than the Parthians.
Small win to the Romans.

Romans had 3 bolt engines. Killed 3 half bases.
Parthian skirmisher mounted got round the back and side of the Roman army.

We need to re visit all cavalry v all foot fights.

No real rule changes seem to be needed(??)

I think we are about there Simon.
The cavalry v foot balance is still under study.

I am scanning the rules for areas that can be simplified at the moment.
