Varying ratios of infantry types are discussed very interestingly by Dr Anne Curry in this article on the period between Agincourt and the French recapture of Normandy in 1450 in relation to the English forces of the period... a precursor to WoTR I know, but nevertheless providing insight and background into the problems of raising troops that would have campaign applications with BB I reckon...
