Wasn`t the lone ranger dressed in Pink? Maybe my eyes but he was certainly an oddball.

Was it Jay Silverheels that played his sidekick?

Hi Ho Silver and away.

I never bothered to make a stagecoach as the amount of work involved seemed rather a lot.
I think it would sell OK, but not enough to justify the time taken from other work/projects.

A lone ranger figure would lead folk into thinking that the western range is based upon Hollywood films, which it is not.
Also the current enthusiasm for the new rules might(?) be short lived, as the rules are a "big group show" set rather than a weekly  "one on one" game set?
Has anyone played several games yet?

martin :)

Not yet, I have to paint a ton of Indians.  I'll be curious to see if your Indian sales went up in 2021 😀.

Come on Martin, give us a Lone Ranger.

If not a 'Solo Wanderer' then perhaps 'The Fox'?, for those adventures on the border? ;)

Pink????
Only at the weekend....... :)

It was indeed; a Mohawk rather than a plains dwell though.....

Yes, Jay Silverheels played Tonto. No, the Lone Ranger's outfit was a pale blue-grey. It is rugby players who have a penchant for pink! I suppose when you are built like the proverbial brick outhouse you can wear whatever you like. Even Gove wouldn't dare cast aspertions.

@ Andy

Pink/Blue whatever. We only had a B/W TV anyway. Used to have a piece of plastic in front of the screen to give a coloured tint.

Colonel Kilgore

@Martin - what about a historically accurate "masked gunman" (or "masked Texas Ranger") character figure (foot / horse / dead) that might happen to bear a passing resemblance to a certain well-known film character? You could call him "Johnny"? Or even "Jon Reid"?

Great idea for a character pack Simon, the range is definitely missing a historically accurate masked bandit,  horse rearing up as he is about to block the path of a stage coach.

Good luck with painting the 600 Native Americans required as a maximum

Or you could just use any old figures as the rules suggest! (Sacrilege)

pbeccas (Paul)

I'm only painting 50 mounted Indians, with a piece of paper with 550 written on it, a pen, and my basic maths subtraction skills.

Leman (Andy)

How about one of those Chinese railway labourers turned gunman. You could call him Won Jain. Something similar worked for Jackie Chan.

Sean Clark

How about everyone paints up all the figures one needs for the full game, including 600 mounted indians, all sourced from Peter Pig.

With the increase in sales, Martin might be more inclined to provide this one figure that I don't think is even guaranteed to appear 😂😅🤣

pbeccas (Paul)

At 517.50 Brit pounds, converted to AU$973.00 to buy the 138 packs I need to complete a 600 figure mounted Indian army.  Yeah, nah. A piece of paper is fine.

 ;D

It would look impressive though!
