Just some general notes about the progress of these rules.
They will be given the acronym BI  thus leaving out the "and".
i will post some pictures of games soon.
I have retired my Ian Weekely buildings and replaced them with the small drum/SHQ buildings. These smaller buildings allow easier site for players to see opponent die rolls and units. I am going to manufacture about 40 chimneys to put them on the buildings. Then i can get on and paint them!

We are using the temporary light AC and armoured truck models i sent out last week.
The games favour the veterans at the moment because the vets save so well at short range. only dying on 1. If the opponent dies on  a 2 then this is twice the hurt.
Morale is being played with as a result of a  whole shed of great ideas. they will be tested!
What is going well(?)
The victory points seem to be balancing out well.
Joe has doen a lot of work on historicity(?) for the companies.
The shooting still uses a variety of factors which can be confusing.
Raw companies are starting to use guns and armoured cars to support their attacks.
Shock assault seems to be the weapon of choice.
Defenders like hitting the attackers with HE as the latter deploy.
Armoured trucks are getting shot to bits (that is fair)
The CC seems to be getting very busy.
The attackers have not stick to just1s on the countdown. the defenders have not just stuck to 3s on the countdown.

To my eyes the game looks quite aesthetic

Martin,

Thanks for the update.

Are you planning [in due course...] on making a PP "Heads and Odds" pack out of the chimneys you're casting up, so other folk can follow your lead?

martin goddard

Yes i wil do a chimney pack.  Probably only of interest to this forum.  But i will put some on the buildings i have and then post pictures for opinions.
