Hi, I have managed to sort the problem. Nice to be able to put some faces to familiar names.

Reference the" coffee cup " Remember the Playing Battlefield was raised up!
Which I would like to do in future as it gave us space to put the "associated junk" Coffee cups, Rules, Dice and other things on table without interfering with the important bit. Playing the Game, and gave a better looking game as well I felt.

Yes the raised battlefield at Beachhead worked well. Your coffee mug was therefore off-table and quite legal!

Yes a very good idea by Big Mike. I know Nigel approved it, so for a lot of show games now we will do the same thing. But this does mean what sort of a table you get from the associated show. The likes Bournemouth and Crystal Palace you get relatively "Big" tables so the raised "game space" is a good idea. But other places might only give you a 4 ft wide table so it sort of defeats the object of raising the game space.
