I still buy the major 2 magazines and of course the wonderful WSS all on Subscription along with Airfix magazine. Must admit people on this thread do have some good points to raise. Look at Airfix now they represent Airfix, Hornby, Scaletrix and Corgi all in "one" brand. But this is how things are I think in this hobby ? Warlord now have become the the collector of a lot of different scales and subjects, as discussed on another thread about ACW. Hopefully this is only doing the hobby good in the end ?
The "Internet" has a lot to answer for ? Good and Bad ! Maybe like with Martin launching the likes of "15 mill" online Magazine is this the way for this hobby to go ? No one to particularly answer for ? Just supply the hobby with good reviews, Views and helpful hints for us digest and use in our day to day running of our hobby.

I take all three, but increasingly and to my sadness am seeing one becoming the weaker of the group and I am likely to start cherry picking issues on that one.

I don't expect a huge amount from my mags, but I do like that self indulgent flop down moment in an easy chair with a coffee and a mag for an hour to enjoy at least a couple of articles - that compared to most forms of entertainment seems a fair reward for my money.
