Ian Holm deceased

Ian Holm died today (?) 19th June 2020 aged 88.
I enjoyed his work a lot on the radio 4 Lord of the Rings series (30 years ago?). In fact I liked it so much I shall get it out again and listen.

A life well lived.

I was a big fan too. Didn't realise he was 88.
My first memory of him was in the television version of Len Deighton's Game,Set and Match trilogy back in the eighties. My favourite books ever.
