Here is an attempt to post a photo of my first game since moving - a Walter Schnaffs FPW game, played solo over a couple of days which was remarkably exciting for a solo game.

Well it looks very nice to me

I am sure you will have a lovely time battling the computer next ;)

Looks very nice, Andy.

Glad you managed to fit in a windmill too - very appropriate.

You simply had an unnecessary space between "height" and "=" in the failed image post, Andy. I removed the space for you.

Well done on wrestling your PC in posting images. I think this now ranks as a Major Victory?

That is excellent Andy.

Some comments
You have a good amount of daylight. So many games i play are in dark and dingy surroundings.
When playing solo do you fight "positively" for one side and let the other sort of self/auto motivate?

Really helps tpo see phots of games.
i tend to get over excited and forget.

Thank you for putting the picture up.

martin :)

I was initially rooting for the French, but they made such a hash of ordering up their reserves (thanks to a lot of non-sixes) that they thoroughly deserved to get pummeled. For the Prussians I made sure that they put enough force together to launch assaults, preceded by artillery fire. Even so the badly outnumbered French broke one of those assaults; 3 Prussian units against one French in buildings.

Simon, thanks for the advice about posting photos.

Martin, Dutch houses and apartments tend to have large windows which does make painting and playing a lot easier.
