A quick 5 minute vid of a game of To the Strongest played in the unholy scale of 28mm.  Romans v Carthaginians.

The figures and cloth looked very good.
A good game was had, by the look of it.
I think they need to keep the camera still for longer?

This reminds me that I need to do some battle reports too.  An effective way to show off rules.

I was the camera man or should I say the iPhone man.  And victorious leader of the Carthaginians.  Definitely agree I need to move less quickly in the pans.

The cloth is from Deep Cut Studios with the grid pre-stenciled on.  Simon Miller sells them through his web store.  He also did me a desert and western front one for Square Bashing.  Highly recommended.

The rules themselves are very quick.  That game took less than two hours to play.

In an ideal world, an overhead view would be best?
I am attempting to rig a tripod to get a top down view of a playtest game. I think it will be very difficult. If I can get it to work I will share. If you can get it to work would you share too please?

I'm surprised that you don't have a drone for this, Martin.

It could double up as a helpful aid (having noted the exorbitant cost of those multi-lens phones that finally proved themselves not up to the job) in making sure that the elves in your woodshed aren't slacking, all from the comfort of your armchair.

I could drill a hole from the bedroom above?

Just screw some pipe clips to batten screwed onto the ceiling.
