Here are some personal criteria
I love games with plenty of units/moving parts.
This allows manoeuvre and tactics which are not  instantly obvious to an opponent.
Flags too.
Lots of units also allows for multiple actions within the same game.

Of course I love the game being developed most at that time.
Therefore, PBI at the moment. But I am still enjoying  ECW and BB much for the above reasons.

Hi Martin,
I would like some separate heads: German helmets with camouflage like the one Gunter Grubb has, WW2 German Hero CF008 has so we can have a whole unit of Grubbs for mid to late war.

Re Smoking Gun: Camouflage helmets. If you use milliput ? Or even better Green Stuff ? You use this to re create a camouflage effect on helmets. You don't need loads for each helmet, but it does work wonders.
