I have just got my copy of the new Mexican Revolution book by Mike Blake.

Just a few notes.  I have no ability to impartially review a book :)

Lots of really detailed information in this book. Looks like a "gold mine" of info that might be hard to find elsewhere.
Includes weapons and units.  Very useful for gamers.
Huge amount of pictures. They are a bit sketchy though. Not enough to sculpt from I fear. They could be used in cross reference with existing photos?

230 pages of goodness.

For that size and content the £45 is well worth it.  Not worth it if a "browse" is the only want.
I bought mine from Caliver books.
Good service.

The Blake book is on my list...

However in reading on this period & following up on online leads attached are a few articles with some truly interesting pictures... national guardsmen, apache scouts..etc ( and one somewhere this morning that shows pershing in his staff car....the very model PP already has sculpted). In any case for you amusement.

On my 'to get' list as well.

"Strategy and Tactics of the Mexican Revolution" (Janssens) is a good read as well.

Now, if only some far-sighted, intelligent and talented sculptor/manufacturer were to do a range for the period...
