RCW armies look great and authentic if they  have flags.
I suggest that it is a good time for someone to produce a sheet of downloadable paper ones.

Anyone here volunteer to make a sheet of say 8 different flags for the RCW day and other days. They could be conjectural ( made up) or from pictures on the internet.

I can bodge something up but think this is a job for a new super hero character called  "Flag man". Flag man produces a small sheet of flags that players can download for free, stick on their flagpoles and enjoy life even more. At the same time attracting praise and gratitude from the assembled crowds.

Volunteers please. Several members might do it and hence widen the menu???
Otherwise it will a bunch of flags with PP stuff all over them. :)

Derek has these for free on his website. A starter for ten.

Thanks !  8)

I forgot some explanations :

Left : Makhnovist, Von Ungern, Von Ungern (informal, from the Corto Maltese comic), Poland, German Freikorps, Cossack, and Red rifle batailon.

Right: German Baltic Freikorps, Poland, Canadian (interventionist force), Cossack, Women's Bataillon of death, White army, and Red motorized batailon.

My advice ; cut the flag, then fold in the midle and glue it wide open to the pole with a small drop of super-glue,

then spread PVA glue to the two faces Inside, and fold up,

Before the glue is dry, create "realistic" folds with the help of a toothpick,

Once dry, paint the edges of the flag with the side of a small brush, then rigidify the whole stuff with a light coat of matt varnish.

Wish I'd seen these a couple of weeks ago!  I've been trying to hand paint.

There was a thread on TMP today about RCW flags. I'd not seen this little collection before:
