I backed the Joan of Arc kickstarter and got my huge box of goodies... Loads of plastic 15mm goodness, which I have not started to tackle yet. I have not even got to think about playing the actual game either. <sigh>

But, I just wondered if I'll be able to use these models for the next version of BB?

The big challenges I can see are:
* These are based on round not square/rectangle bases.
* Not sure if I have enough as especially the fantasy elements won't be fit - Wolves, angles and demons need not apply :)

You can see the basic collection of goodies I got below.

Absolutely perfect for BB. The Billmen and bowmen would be terrific especially if you can buy multiple of those.  Would liketo see how they compare to PP  WOTR figures.
The trees and houses are great too.
Do you think they will do big packs of chosen figures so you might buy just a  bag of 100 billmen bases etc??

Not sure about that, as the shield had gone out of use for most troops even by Joan of Arc's time in the late 1420s. To my knowledge the odd mounted knight may have still carried a shield at the time of the WOR, but the main carriers were continental pikemen with small bucklers, and it is likely even they would have been discarded by the 1480s. On the other hand the terrain items look great.

Thanks I got this for the game etc but was just looking for possible re-use of stuff. :)

I know the models are for an earlier period so some will not be quite correct for the WotR but with a bit of luck the new version will be able to be 'pushed back' to the battles in France for me at least.

I presume that the unicorn and werewolf are already on Martin's list of additional WOTR packs to sculpt?

As intelligent historical gamers I think we can agree that the unicorn is absolutely valid, but a werewolf is just silly.

;D ;D ;D ;D  Can't believe I actually have a Warmaster Bretonnian queen on a unicorn  :-[. However the Bretonnian army did make a superb C14th HYW army.
