How many dead?

As I get together a Saxon force for Longships, I've been wondering how many dead bases I'd need.

In the interest of optimising remaining painting time before the SOA day at the end of March, I was wondering whether I'd get away with 6 dead bases?

I'd welcome people's thoughts, please.
