Looks good Stewart, did anyone use them for last nights game?

Stewart 46A

Fi only have one so far as a sample, and Dave I would wait until the rules have settled down before committing I just jumped the gun

Stewart, agree should wait. But I really like the idea, keeps it all quite neat and tidy.

So what sizes are we going for on these ships please ???
Are the bases going to be as wide as the sails ?
So the bases can't be any longer than 10 cms ???

martin goddard

I have put some pictures of ship basing, on the pirate ship page on PP website.

Duncan

I guess the thing is like you say, if the items had not arrived for whatever reason you would not then have an address or tel no, so giving it to you once you have got your product whilst good is kind of a mute point if things don't turn up.

martin goddard

Yes Miles you are correct about the 10cms.  I think the best thing to do in the rules, is give suggestions rather than a rule. Problem might be a base that does not allow a second, similarly based ship into the same hex.
In addition wargamers see basing as a very personal thing (?)

Stewart 46A

Yes remember we are all individuals (I'm not!)

Leslie BT

You will need space on the base for the rowing boat towed behind the ship.
