I have 1 complete set up and 3 forces

I've just worked out what a truly "full" set of scenery could be, with no optional rules but maximum of each scenery piece that might be required if the 2 sides exercised their "worst" combined options (e.g. both chose a rough hill as their initial plus special pieces):

5 buildings
5 camps
4 woods
4 very rough hills
4 rough hills
4 gentle hills
3 dead ground
5 still water
4 long grass / crops

as well as 5' of track that could also be deployed as 3' instead.


This is on the basis of rules draft #57.

Can anyone spot a flaw in the logic or maths?

Simon, yours maths gets an A.  I think in the rules i will be a bit more blunt. I will probably say, that if the pieces you particularly want are not available, then you should have brought your own! it show poor command abilities to be that unprepared.

Simon if your providing a complete set up with varied scenery and two forces as a demo game that will be sufficient, if other players not happy them
Then as Martin said they should have brought their own.

I should have roughly enough scenery for a game though it may be a case of this is your scenery rather then what scenery would you like - I have enough railway track for a game too. I don't have figures for two forces I'm afraid.

Thanks Chris,no problem I have a few scenery pits spare plus 3 forces so they will have to use what we have if they don't bring their own.

I ve yet to get any forces up for this game. ( my backlog is starting to get shorter !!!)

I see on Entoyment the store moving date has been announced.
19th July. So the Western will be held at the present venue in lower Parkstone,Ashley Road.
PBI and CWB will be held at the new Venue in the Upton area. Address to be confirmed as soon as i know.
