My first thought when I saw the picture in the banner display was that they were waiting for a tankard or other drinking vessel! It's definitely a "cheers" pose.

Well, we can now order the new Greeks as well as the updated AK47 generals from the PP website but can't yet see them - intriguing!

Now that we have the pictures, we can see that the new Greeks are really nice sculpts. I don't need another project to sit on the shelf for a few years, but I'm sorely tempted with these and the Macedonians...

And the first batch of the remastered AK47 commanders - timed to help motivate us to get back into this chaotic period once we have PBI 2020 done and dusted.

These are lovely little figures, and it looks as though the bodyguards are to some degree interchangeable, to add some variety to the all-important command stand.

We really are in a golden age of PP sculpting!

Agreed. Very glad to see the Hoplites. They look splendid.

I've played a game of (shock/horror!) classic AK47 tonight with 3 new players. They all loved it. It was truly chaotic mainly due to me forgetting most of the rules 😂🤣😅
