AK47 Republic on a grid?

For all the fantasy stuff their is masses on the market already but no one makes historical miniatures as well as Martin, just let him get on with the  extras for Vietnam, ECW, WW2 etc and expanding his excellent grid bases gaming rules.

If dont like grids then use another rule system as the grids are key to playing most RCFM rule sets.

I think some games should stay on an "Open" table.
CWB for instance ? But AK47 could be an advantage on a 6ft table.
