Game of FfM today.
Government army second half was the defender. Veteran with pair of guns, 2Mg, +1 mg, 3 bomber bases.
The other army Ragged Rebels. Who won the piggy chase and choose to be the attacker. Raw with 3 bombers, extra unit of cavalry, 6 extra cavalry bases.

We used lots of assets, incorrectly rolled for extra at the start because we were successful before turn one with the assets so defender rolled four times, attacker rolled 6 times. We had an interesting game that all worked well.
The attacker kept his cavalry in reserve on turn one and brought them on on the defenders baseline on the road and then attempted to push through the centre back onto the objective.
The first raw unit that was beaten was brought back on on the train on the defenders base line and combined with the cavalry, now dismounted, to push onto the centre objective,
By the end of the game most units of both sides had been destroyed.
We had 5 turns and used most of the assets. We did find that you had to choose your assets carefully to get best use from them. I had a veteran army and found some assets difficult to use as with the unit getting a bonus for being veteran and so could not get them any better. We used the assets on our opponent as well which worked well.
