I have recently taken up playing PITS and am really enjoying the games.
Two rather diverse questions have arisen which forum members might be able to help answer.
1) Extra bases in fights. I note that the extra bases cannot be damaged but do the side receiving the extra blows defend them by rolling dice or is it a free hit for the player with the extra bases ?
2) If I want to use a gunboat how wide should the river be ? I note that the rules suggest that the river gets narrower at the Dervish end of the table. It seems to me that at it's widest the river will occupy a lot of the table.
