Square Bashing / Re: 15mm Quar for Square Bashing

So the irony here the Crusaders are going to be Late War British and the Coftyran are US Army 1917-18. Reason being the high number of tanks being options and the fact late war British have LMGs because the Crusaders have semiautomatic rifles

Only issue is they are coming with a lot of fun tanks. Otherwise the Chaco would be good.

Think anteaters with interwar level of tech. Divided between revolutionary democrats and royalists.
Royalists

Democrats called Crusaders

Square Bashing / 15mm Quar for Square Bashing
February 15, 2025, 03:55:58 PM
Get a bunch of 15mm Quars in the mail soon. Trying to figure what armies to use for them. The minis I am getting are Maer Braech Crusaders and Coftyrans. Getting a decent amount of infantry and vehicles. Will need to get field artillery but should have everything else.

I was thinking maybe Freikorps and RCW Armies but would like advice

I actually meant creating their own army lists, with fictional bolt action settings. Like Forest in Time and Shadow and Bone. Both which would really lean to these rules.

I meant customs armies in these rules. It's a short novella about a world with the US colonies one independence but never became one nation. So instead it's like the Balkans post Ottoman but majority English speaking and tech development is really delayed. Machine guns just became a thing and star forts are still dominate.

Square Bashing / Custom Armies

I recently re read The Forest of Time and am from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Got me wondering if anyone has tried customs armies? These rules are set in the right period of tech described plus where it is heading. (I find sticking to historical setting hard for me)

My First Nation is being supported by Canada as a buffer from a couple of the factions. The Warsaw Pact stuff never thought of that.

I plan to stick with the 15mm measurements cause modern/future weapons are long range. I refuse Facebook these days cause way to much toxic on it.

I am doing mine in 6mm, post Civil War USA set in 2030-2050s. Lets me adjust stuff to more comfortable setting for me. Am a US citizen in the States. Cause Troop quality is the biggest factor and gear is generic. I built a UN Mission for United States using Brigade Models Hammer's Slammers Army Pack for it. Gives me everything I need to make a futuristic EU/UN Army. My biggest stumbling block is keeping the rest of the armies from being mirrors in gear.

Working on a project to making eight armies in 6mm for this setting

post war: a Canada/Commonwealth supported exile army of First Nations People, a Mormon Fundamentalists, EU Western Intervention Army doing "aid" for various European Companies/Banks, and  Colonial settler built around old national guard formations.

For early was going to use the Middle East Army lists. IDF for regular/marines, Lebanese Militia for left wing militias/gang alliance , Syrian Army for right wing militia, and Western backed for National Guard. Biggest issue I think the armies will look a lot like in the early war.

My questions is how to make the armies look different ?Not a lot  of Soviet/Chinese gear floating in these parts. So only US/NATO. The EU is going to be built around Brigade Models Hammer's Slammers/Eurofed

What about the Right Wingers. I thought a mix of military fatigue colors and maybe random shirts.
