Martin,
I'm still good for 11th at Entoyment but cannot make 18th.

Colin made the Gold Beach terrain for the D-Day-75 game in 2019. These were 4 x 4ft long sections (if I remember correctly). Quite a stunning set-piece!

Patrols in the Sudan / Re: PITS inclusion
July 13, 2025, 09:21:04 AM
I have sourced a starter army of Boer fighters using the existing PP ACW and Western ranges, including wagons and cattle. Now I have a reason to get hem painted
Looking forward to the forthcoming play testing.

Mexican Revolution / Re: Battle day sat 12th July

Yes, a good way to end our time at the old Entoyment.
Fighting for Mexico uses many of the successful PP rule mechanisms but with a number of twists to make it a unique and absorbing game.

PBI / Re: PBI Dutch v Germans
May 31, 2025, 08:07:01 AM
Sean,

Yes I was.

Unfortunately I lost the game because these excellent models were not painted to the high standard expected.
I have let myself down, my family, the RFCM group and the memory of the late Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands.

My excuse is that our game was re-scheduled a day earlier and I had planned to paint them in good time. Unfortunately the German Panzers arrived earlier than expected and we weren't ready!

Martin was gracious in victory as ever.

A good game.

Stewart,
Thanks for the updated schedule.
I can do June C&K and July Mexico. I have armies for both.
Not August or September dates.

October and November are good for me as things stand.
Suggestions; CWB, Sudan, Western.

No figure painting until I bought some Russian Infantry that I fixed to a textured board then realised I could only sit and stare at them. Wargaming with based figures came much later.
