PBI / PBI company commander

I love the new edition.  Cleanly written,  well done indeed.  Makes BA look waterlogged and wrinkled.  And I like 'Mandy-  "because the little men worry about danger close".   I swear there was a time I could have found cover in a bottle cap.

Just ordered the PDF OF PBI.  I hope the second e-mail is clearer than the gibberish I sent first.

PBI / Question re: pack content
December 18, 2019, 08:45:26 PM
If this is NOT the right place to start this thread I apologize.  I'm getting back into WW2 and have decided to do a company from the battalion I retired out of in 2008, Bcoy. 1st Btn, 151st Inf Rgt.  They were in the battles for the liberation of Luzon, but obviously I need a mess of Japanese too.  1st coy, 3rd Btn, 39 Inf Rgt, (Himeji').
So I have question regarding pack contents with Japanese.
How many LMG crews are in pack #265 - 3?    How many Light 'knee mortars' in #269 - 4?   Number of actual officer types in command pack #s in #264 & 267?
After the holidays, I am going to order the Japanese as one big order, then the tropical GIs.  Using US marines as US Army line infantry in tropical plain HBT hot climate uniforms.

PBI is the company level game FOW should have been, but battlefront turned it into a 'tank harvest game' akin to Warhammer 1.943K.......  it's dreadful.  PBI hands down, I honestly do not understand why PBI isn't far more popular her in the US, over FOW or 'bolt action 😖'.....

PBI / NEW RULES

I still have the 2006 version of the book (green cover w/ tommies crouched behind a disabled MKIII).  Has the black and yellow newer edition Changed anything of note?  Is it a rewrite, a clearer format, etc?  I see there is an actual "army builder book",  are the army builds any different or better?

A German officer standing with a slung MP40, helmet hung on his belt, munching on a disk of chocacola in one hand and a cuppa in the other.... looking bored

Just like you're being there.  This actually makes me angry when I see this... (having actually 'been there' thrice).  I mean really?  I don't recall ever taking a retractable ruler to measure the distance between myself and 'smelly man o' goats' and hurling 3 D6s at him.
I digress, it annoys me so.
