Shame it wasnt more Crimea orientated?
Then these would mix in well with ACW figures ?
But Spanish Napoleonic with some Rifleman and south Essex Regiment?
That was 6 barrels on that Royal Naval weapon ?

Sound like drones !
Essentially the same thing but controlled by AI instead of a human ? No doubt !

General discussion / Re: What are you working on....?
September 23, 2025, 03:01:44 AM
I am finishing off  or continuing with my Western Styled Africans ? The force I did for Wild Geese. As I can use the same troops to represent the African Kantangense force for Jadotville.
Also sorting out troops to represent the Irish, More  Head Changes ?
I will cheat a bit with these, the Command groups will have the Blue Berets and flags, while the rest of the forces with have normal military coloured berets.
Does anyone know where I can get the Ford Armoured Car that the Irish use please ?

They look very nice, especially as it's all natural fibres
A very good find indeed.

Must admit, this is why I now have a tendency to buy the Rules as a printed copy and a PDF backed up to my Google Drive.
I can always read them one way or another ?

Patrols in the Sudan / Re: Lack of interest?
September 21, 2025, 08:45:50 AM
I am very much interested but it's very much the wrong weekend for me.
I am off to London for a gig, booked some months before.
Another Saturday in October is fine ? For myself But might not suit your work timetable Stewart ?
If it could be rearranged I will get there?

No problem, it is an open invitation.
I may ask to borrow any PP promotions for AK for that weekend ?

Very possibly. Still in planning stage.
As you were in 2 minds as to what exactly your doing on that weekend?
Martin You are more than welcomed to come and join us on either or both days ?
Anyone who wants to join myself and Simon on the Saturday?
And/or Hopefully myself and and Colin on the Sunday ?
So on the Saturday will be Wild Geese (Film version) as per Colours with an actual purpose built Speacial piece and a Minehead replacing one of the jungle pieces.
If we can get the pieces together for the Sunday, Battle of Jadotsville.
Hopefully that way we can showcase the new AK47 rules, but also keep it interesting for everyone?

AK47 Republic / Re: Beachhead show. 2026 Games

I watched the film Sunday Afternoon.
Just got to get the book ?
It's a very basic "normal AK47 game"
Defenders around a small town set up with defences? These could be the "partials" the trenches ?
The Attackers coming across open ground with long grass, and dips and shallows hills and gullies ?
The main Katangese forces I ve already done with the Africans for Wild Geese.Just need to do some Militia in a similar camo jacket pattern to the Denistoun Smock ?
A lot of the templates I ve already done as well  with the "Red Soil" base ?
If Colin does the buildings with his Laser cutter ?
We would be on our way in a big way?
Just got to do some Irish/British which I have already ? But I won't do the UN berets ? Also about 4/6 Land Rover Techicals ?
