Thank you Martin, I shall get out some tools and make a tray with 3 compartments.
I will cut some 12x6 inch templates too as I have saved some mdf for PE scenery.

Best wishes,
Martin, from a small village near Grimsby.

I do need to add some militia bases, MGs, mortars, recoiless rifles and towed guns.

Vehicles wise, I have too many of nearly every type. I can equip 4 armies with tanks if the units are homogenous, more if I mix types e.g. one Sherman with one T55.

One thing is troubling me, is it important to know which bases that are placed in the "dead tray" belong to which unit for "damned militia" purposes? I can mark the initial bases but what about the additional bases assigned during army building?

Martin,
I've watched the first 5 or 6 videos and found them useful, thank you. I'm looking forward to watching the new ones sometime this week.

I'm currently reviewing my existing painted AK figures to see what I need to add for PE.

Good: AK47 Republic in all it's editions. Wide choice of quality figures in a variety of scales. Cloths, laser cut bases, buildings etc. Ebay has it critics but does easy allow access to many new and used products.

Bad: Tariffs and other import duties which have effectively stopped me from buying from outside the UK. Special dice, which are D6's with funny symbols instead of numbers.

Miles,
I like all three of those.

I need to find some modelling time, things should be easier once the grand children are back at school.Best

Hi Sean,
It is a fish tank ornament from Pets at Home:
https://www.petsathome.com/product/classic-aquatics-broken-airplane-aquarium-ornament/7150540P?productId=7150540&purchaseType=one-time&size=oneSize

Yours for £8.

It's very nicely done, when  I first saw it I thought it was a converted toy or kit.

Martin,
Thank you for the information on lead content I have passed it on.

Jon and Neil,
Thank you both for input. As an ex industrial chemist I'm a big believer in hand washer and never underestimating the ability of idiots to completely screw something up no matter how simple you make it.

General discussion / Lead content of PP figures?
August 03, 2025, 07:58:53 PM
Someone has asked about lead poisoning from tank miniatures, specifically turret turning, do PP miniatures contain lead?
I cannot see any information on the PP website.

Thank you and best wishes,

Hello Barry,
The -1 should still apply as the wording is: "Target is raw OR at short range". I take this to mean that raw targets will always suffer the -1.
