Title: Losing Games
Post by: Sean Clark on July 09, 2016, 11:57:26 PM
I need to grumble about my dice. I played and lost all 3 games of PBI today with late war U.S. figures.

Now, historically, they did rather well in the fighting post D-Day. So it can't be the figures I've chosen to play with. The rules are sound and give a quick fun game that produces a plausible result. So I can't blame the rules.

This leads me to the obvious conclusion that my dice were to blame. Time to change to the orange or purple ones. The ivory ones I have been using for a while now are clearly faulty.

What like about the PP rules in general is the narrative they forge. After nearly 30 years of a diet of WRG it rather cleanses the pallete. ;D after all

I however do have a metric ton of dice  ::)

I have a fair amount of success recently with my purple piggie dice. I think it's all in the alliteration.

It might help Sean if you take them along to your church preaching this Sunday. The atmosphere will sink in to them. Wouldn't take them to a funeral though?
The other idea would be to let your opponent use them and you will find they suddenly get better. This is scientifically proven as a method.
