Title: Cattlemen v Mexicans "Cry me a river"
Post by: martin goddard on December 28, 2017, 03:36:24 PM
Cattlemen defending. Mexicans attacking. River down the attacker's edge. Both sides had a lot of mounted.  Mexicans got themselves shot to bits in the open ground. cattlemen used the cover surrounding their defence piece and were not lured out. The attackers got nowhere near the defence piece. Attacker reinforcement of 5 veteran horse bases lost 4 bases when shot at by distant veteran foot cattlemen. Oh gosh! Mexicans tried to extend the game but failed.

Cattlemen did it right. Defend the mother ship but send out fighters to keep the attackers in pain. They used the force to beat back the attackers. Mexicans lost out against their shield.

In summary the river worked properly, but needs more testering.

Martin will tell you that the dice favour no one. Their performance is always mathematical.
