Title: PBI Games Day 9/7/16
Post by: Sean Clark on July 09, 2016, 11:17:08 PM
What a great day in Poole, Dorset today. 10 players attended the fantastic FLGS, Entoyment to have a day of PBI, with locals, members of SELWG and myself. Pictures will follow. I travelled down last night and stayed with Martin at PPHQ where I played 2 games of the new Men of Company B which I thoroughly enjoyed (no suprise!). I cant wait to get this going at the Stoke club.

Thanks to Miles for organising today, Martin as usual for putting me up for the night and to Pete (?) at Entoyment for being so friendly. And to my three opponents today who ensured I took home the wooden spoon thanks also  ;)

A few pictures from last weekends PBI day in Dorset. I highly recommend these games days to any one interested. They are great fun, you get to play games in a non serious atmosphere and you can even question the rules author on points that crop up!

Working clockwise from the bottom we have Chris, Bryan, Chirs, Colin, Martin (Peter Pig) and Ian (Dickie, ex editor of Miniature Wargames.)

This last picture was actually from my first game and shows my greatest achievment of the day. A first turn assault against dug in Germans armed with MG42's. Didn't do me any good but it made me feel better  :D
