Title: MILL articles
Post by: martin goddard on October 23, 2025, 07:49:42 AM
Thanks to those that made articles for the MILL.
I  enjoy reading them and then publishing them.
I also look back at old editions and read them too.  Marvellous.

Do you look back at past editions?
Do you have any suggestions for the MILL?

I frequently look back at previous issues. There may be an article that I read and think that'll come in useful one day, especially terrain making or painting tips.

The article about one chaps Western collection and how he built it is great as there are ideas for building the scenery needed for the game. As is the article on a RCW campaign.

I'd like to read some battle reports. I intend to do one or two, perhaps on some of the older games that we haven't played in a while.

It really is a great effort by all, and the price is great too! After failing to get an article done for this issue, I'm storing up a few ideas for issue 24.

I re-read them on a fairly regular basis. I keep meaning to cobble together some scenery & figures for some of the gamettes but never quite get round to it.

I enjoy the battle reports too, particularly those which have a strong narrative element and/or feature rules I'm not familiar with. Which would include some of the older sets like Pirates, Washington's Army and Civil War Battles.

But essentially I read everything and take some inspiration from all of it.  :)
