MILL 23 is now done.
Thank you to every one for the great articles. Keep it up.
I much enjoyed putting it all together.
I will put the link here once the onerous upload procedure has taken place.

Here it is.
martin :)
Thanks everyone who contributed 👍👍🎲👍
Another nice edition. Well done us :D
Simon
Just downloaded and had a quick squizz through... another fascinating issue, Martin! ;D
Good to see that Barry's TCR bits made it in.
Jon.
I was very taken with Barry's TCR Blockers.
I've been wondering how best to do these myself, and Barry's look to be both clear on the table and cheap and easy to make.
Simon
It is a good edition I think. Plenty of stuff with TCR being prominent.
martin :)

Yes, having seen them in person they look very effective - easy to imagine them in an "animated" state as constantly-shape-changing squiggly energy fields, very pulp sci-fi! ;D
Lots of crackling, buzzing sound effects....
Jon.
Really enjoyed the wild geese scenario. Might give that a go at some point!
The whole magazine a well done effort; thanks.
Joe
I agree Joe
The wild geese scenario looks really good with that aeroplane. It is one of those "I know what that game is" game recogniser models.
The MILL will continue if the gang keeps sending in material. Thanks to them for the 23 issues so far.
martin :)
That was indeed the general idea! Glad it worked for you both.
Another element that was particularly nice was being able to achieve the general scenery look using normal templates and broadly following the normal scenery rules.
Miles is running this game again at WWW, which will give others the chance to see it in the flesh.
Simon
I'm looking forward to playing it!
Just read #23.
Well done all. Every article was of interest. The pictures were lovely. A great endeavour. 👍
I notice that the 1940 Dutch were marching too slowly to make the cut in this edition. Must have gone via Narvik.
Hello Andy
Not sure I follow.
Have I missed an article?
martin :)
Yes, the one on painting the 1940 Dutch infantry, and my only foray into WWII.
Whoops. Sorry Andy. I definitely had it, but stuck it in my personal folder as I am going to do a Dutch force using your colour guide.
martin :-[
I'll look forward to reading it in issue 24!
No problem. 23 is updated.
martin :)
Even better!
Nice to see my questions to Miles made it into print, I've kept a copy of all of that for reference :)
Sorry chaps, am I missing something? Just downloaded Mill 23 again expecting the updated version, and it seems to be exactly the same as the original file from a couple of weeks ago....?
Jon.
That is vert strange. It uploaded fine. I will do it again. Creaky software I think
martin :)
I'm still getting the old version.
John
I've had this problem before, when it was a "simple" matter of deleting cached files and images [Settings / Privacy and Security / Clear Cached Files, or something similar, depending on your device].
I've just done this, and now (correctly, since Imgur threw their toys out of the pram) get the purple blocks of doom on the News sections. I could previously still see the images, which my phone had stored automatically.
However, this hasn't done the trick for version 23 of The Mill.
Simon
I am trying it again. The web software is quite old now. It takes about 45 minutes to upload.
Fingers crossed.
martin :)
The upload process has now been started.
It should be there now?
Start those articles for MILL 24.
martin :)
That's worked for me, thanks Martin.
Also to Andy for the nice little article. I personally find it really useful to have the precise colour codes quoted in this manner.
Simon
Very enjoyable read as per usual.
I play way to little in 15mm, but hopefully that is about to change as I decided to stop all future endeavours with Sci-fi and WW2 for the bigger scales. Just 6mm elements and 15mm singlebased troops from now on.
Yes, worked for me too, now have the updated version with the Dutch 1940 article (very useful!) - thanks for going to the trouble, Martin! :)
Jon.
All good now. Thanks Martin.
John
Groovy!
martin :)
Welcome to the group Fred.
What period/game do you like chatting about?
martin :)
Hey that Dutch piece is useful - thanks Andy (I've a bit of a plan for a new year project...)
All best
Jimmy
