Title: The sound of the mines
Post by: martin goddard on September 24, 2025, 11:29:25 AM
Mines in TCR move around the table in straight lines. They can stop and pause. They can wait.

If a film/fiction helps players into the imagination what sound might they make. Silence is not an option because players need a sound.

Unusual sounds  (a duck) might work?

I think they'd make an ominous whooshing sound when in flight, and then an annoying "beep, beep" while thinking about what to do next, and finally a very annoying "bleep, bleep, bang!" when they land in your square :)

How about those little balls with a bell inside for cats. Spooky.

Sound like drones !
Essentially the same thing but controlled by AI instead of a human ? No doubt !
