Title: Comments on FF

Since I'm now playing on Saturday, I thought that I should probably read the rules first. So here follow some thoughts for the next version (which will presumably be going to the races 😊?):

Page 5: "Players", not "layers"

Page 12: mines are earlier variously stated as 5 or 6 needed, but the Distance force list allows up to 7. And there could be 3 more as a Defender reward, so up to 10 in one force.

Page 15: "number" and "numbers", not "amount" and "amounts" – (we're not writing for The Sun here...)

Page 34: I think it should be "exchange 1 D6 spot for each attempt" i.e. whether successful or not?

Page 37 states that an Objective in the open is not scenery. The table on page 39 includes Objectives as scenery. Which is confusing.

Page 42: it would be worth stating explicitly that the squares numbered 2 and 4 can equally not be targeted (and why)

Page 47: does the Attacker get no points for killing a Praetorian?

Page 50: presumably the Creeper shift from pack to pack can occur to or from anywhere (except in Horror) on the table (implied but not explicitly stated)?

Will the sections on both Creepers and Turrets be moved to earlier in the rules, as currently reference is made to both before we learn what they are? They could then usefully be mentioned on pages 8 and 9 when introducing different troop types.

Presumably 3 Creepers to a base, as per Auxiliary?

It would probably be useful to state that players should mark (e.g. lettered A to F) whatever they use to denote the Objectives, which could then be (secretly but readily) identified as to which were high value.

I don't think Aim state and Damage markers are specifically mentioned on the list of things a player needs?
