Have been busy converting PP Turks into Arabs for Ottoman service for our Beersheba game. Have to say Martins sculpts for the Arab heads and the Turkish Infantry are superb and marry together really well. Looking forward to painting these up.

I agree that the alternative PP heads are a great innovation. The only other company I know of that do something similar is the Perrys 28mm plastics, for which they have produced some alternative metal heads. I really like the way the PP heads can completely change the look of a figure, giving an even better diorama aspect to a figure base. And of course, as above, it can even change the nationality of a figure. Among my successes have been the feldmutzen on my WWI Germans and the SCW bonnet to convert my WWI Belgian Guides to Belgian lancers.
Good news chaps
martin :)
I bought a couple of packs of US WW2 helmet heads to use on AK47 Republic figures armed with SLRs to represent European supplied / supported troops. Without these heads I don't think I would have been able to create these units.
Best wishes,
Martin, from a small village near Grimsby.
You can transform a figure even putting the same head back on by turning it or elevating a head in a slightly different direction.
All 3 of my AK 47 armies have had heads changes. My Arab army especially. As Dave said PP figures with Arab heads do look amazing?
Whenever I buy figures now I also normally buy 2-3 packs of head changes as a matter of fact.

Likewise, although I will have to remember to buy my Dutch heads when I order my Germans.
