This army has a compulsory 1 regular Unit, but 2-3 militia units. Given the 3 unit limit this does not work.
It should either be 1 compulsory regular unit and 2 compulsory militia units
or 0-1 regular units and 2-3 militia units.
The first option the player has no choice but the second option gives a player a choice.
John
Isn't the 3rd Militia unit in case you buy an extra unit, John?
So it's 1 Regular + 2 Militia (no choice) for the basic 3 units. And if you buy a fourth, it has to be Militia?
Simon
Good work Simon
martin :)
In early editions they were 0-1 for regulars and 2-4 for militia.
I wonder if they ought to be 0-1 again. It would be an opportunity for an all militia army which would be interesting. They'd be the only army with that option. I'd play them!

I thought someone ought to be seen to be paying attention from the back of the class :D

But you're a glutton for punishment, Sean.
Would you field a special colonoscopy unit in there too?
Simon
I'm with you Sean. I'd like to try an all militia army. I must admit I had forgotten about buying an extra unit.
John
Myself and Simon haven't as for the Colours game I am having a forth unit of troops.
With the Simbas there will be Hordes of them ?
We ought to be thankful that Micheal Caine wasnt in the film !
Otherwise John would be coming out with his quotes ?
Miles
There's always room for a Michael Caine quote in any game ;D
Folk may remember back to the discussion on this?
Because kill D6 are limited to 4 per quality type, a "one type" army will minimise its kill dice as it fills the 4D6 maximum rather than suffering multiple sources of kill D6.
