Some thoughts that others might add to please.
1. Deploy outside difficult scenery to hinder enemy that want to come out.
2.Keep the levy units for support and maybe capturing flanks. They are cheap and good at these tasks.
3. Be prepared to fall back. But not onto your base edge.
4.Off table veteran units should be given arrival priority, even if small, as they really help fights and morale.
5. Avoid low D6 fights as they can go wildly wrong. A weak opponent zone always gets a minimum of 4D6.
6. Do put 4 skirmisher bases on an enemy flank to add 1 to their morale test D6 total.
7. A valiant general can be really useful for an attacker. Units get to fight sooner.
8. Have a unit or two of bowmen to counter constant enemy bowfire.
9. Push a wood or building into the table in order to give a hazard to the enemy battle plan.

martin :)
I was fairly sure I was coming on Saturday but now have a colonoscopy booked.
There must be a joke in there somewhere.
Some people really know how to have fun! Hope it goes well Sean.

Having had a few of these in the past, you don't get a dvd but there may be photos in the report.
Good luck and best wishes,
