Title: Objectives for SB
Post by: martin goddard on May 04, 2025, 02:54:36 PM
Here are the SB objectives I made for SB.

Each one uses a 6" template so that it does not need to be mounted on another template.

Gosh they're nice Martin!

You have inspired me to do something  similar. First on my list though is some islands for Hammerin Iron that I've been putting off for years.

What green paint do you use?

Very nice indeed, Martin. I was looking for the sheep gently grazing on these - they look very peaceful!

Thank you all.
The green I use is bright because of the indoors lighting t will be used under.

I usually use a cheap acrylic such as those from the range.
59ml  Jubilee green or "green" from the Range. £1  a pot .
I suspect it is too bright for many but it makes me content. I dry brush with yellow.  I really like dry brushing because it requires no finesse just an expensive sable brush (£35).

That method of producing groundwork looks very good indeed.

Actually after seeing Martins Objectives I ve started to look around to get my own on the go.
I did get some trees for the Enchanted woods, but they were too big. So I will send off for the 10mm ones ! The 15mm ones will feature in my Jungle scenery so they won't go to waste.
Just to make a hill and sort out some X roads pieces.

Those buildings are really nice Miles. Plenty of room for troops too.
I would want to encourage players to work on their scenery. This is why the special scenery piece exists in AK. It would be nice to have a small reward for "bringing scenery" and "making the effort". These are hard to get into an easy to follow form though.  It is great when people make scenery pieces and they should be rewarded.  Not sure how.  Maybe we can have a version of the AK special piece rule mechanism?

I for one would agree, but then I would as doing Terrain is a speciality of mine ?
So some reward would be lovely! Lol

Very nice Martin!
I see that you have provided ready-made graves on the grassy knoll for your enemy assaulters.

That reminds me of the graveyard on the dyke about 8Km from where I live.
