Title: Early Peter Pig
Post by: Ed on December 06, 2024, 02:49:05 PM
Sometimes you just have to go in with the bayonet.  And when that happens, these are the fellows I want leading the way - my earliest Peter Pig figures.  Thanks Martin!

Do they still fight well?

Oh my yes - in fact, I should say that they're getting better with age!  They see a lot of use in Operation Compass and East African games.   And while the opposition isn't all that tough in the former it certainly is in the later.

I want to say how much I enjoy your 14th Army packs - I have big plans for them...

Oh gosh, I just saw the link my friend Sean Clark posted on painting 14th Army.  Thanks Sean!

This is well good Ed. I tend to paint my WW2 figures in a lighter shade than accurate to make them easy to recognise. Do you?
