Noooo.....as I've said before rules with Germans on the cover sell more copies. Take for example WRG. In the 70's everyone played their Armour Infantry rules and yes there was a Tiger tank (Amongst others) on the cover. Their revised set in 1988 had British infantry on the cover....everyone stopped playing the game. I'm sure the same thing is going to happen with Warlord games Bolt Action now Version 3 doesn't have a German on the cover.

I like it Martin.

Put me down for a copy of both.

I quite like the colours they are. Including the Fuchsia Pink, gives it that slight identification of being PP.

The proposed schedule.

I have just finished adding indexes to the US and UK PBI rule sets. Players like them.
I want to have about 10  PBI videos done, so that players can see how to do things.

PP shopping cart closes  for Christmas.
Play testers will get their pdf architect and rules before Christmas.

PBI will go on sale 2nd January so that they are "PBI 2025".
There may well be a printed PBI rule book  in February/March 2025, but that is not decided yet.
There will probably not be a printed architect book, as architect sales are usually a half of rule book sales.  Also pdf architect would allow players to print off the bits they wanted at the time?

That sounds like a good plan, Martin.

I support holding off for a while on the printed version.

I concur with Simon, allow time for the mistakes etc to be worked out before putting them to proper print !
I am more than happy to have the PDF before the real one comes out.

Hopefully there are no mistakes Miles.
I don't think Simon was suggesting there were?

PDF is the final version.

We have been through 100 + editions so they should be done.
Anything specific you were thinking of Miles?
If we can't get it right in 100+ editions then any further work would not find anything we missed 50 times?

I did see one little one,I did mark on the copy you had at WWW. Instead of ANY it said AYN. That was only quickly going thru ! When we were looking up something for the game.

Oh dear...

Re-running the spell-check function on Word should fix that and anything (or aynthing...) similar.
