Post by: John Watson on November 07, 2024, 12:17:44 PM
Hi all, Martin and I are intending to have a day of AK47 at Wessex Wargames Society on Saturday 7th December starting at 1000. We should get two games in. Please let me know on here if you would like to attend. Cost is £6 for members or £8 for non members. If its is your first visit it is free. There is a tuck shop selling crisps, chocolate, tea coffee and fizzy drinks. Bring your own lunch.
All equipment can be supplied but bring your own army if you wish.
WWS meets at Colbury Memorial Hall. See the Society's website for details.

As it's only less than 2 weeks away.
We are playing at the Wessex HQ ?
1000 hours start ? Or 0900 ? Can't quite remember?
2 tables ?
I can do a full table.
My Desert British(Iraq war)force is nearly painted up for the newer rules(will be by 7th !)
I have an Arab/African force to represent Egyptian/Sudan type forces.

It is a 1000 start Miles. Bring your own food. At present there are 5 of us, so room for more. Two tables would be good. Of the 5 two have not played before as far as I know, I have played once before (current version) and there is you and Martin. Possibly the first game could be Martin v one of the new players and Miles v me and the other new player. Swap around after lunch.
So if you and Martin can supply the tables that would be great. I have an army. Looks like you have one too Miles. So Martin would need to bring sufficient troops for the other table. Is that OK with everyone else?
