Title: martin poorly
Post by: martin goddard on October 30, 2024, 12:33:53 PM
Hello all

I had another heart attack on Monday 28th.
I went down onto the floor...bang.
Blue lighted into hospital.
I am still alive.

I felt poorly for a while previous to the attack but have now had surgery . Thank you to the NHS. Good job.

I am now at home and taking it easy.
"Taking it easy" means I can do wargaming, just no big lifting at the moment. I will enjoy the gaming.

I will be Ok for the 9th November PBI battle day too. Miles is here for some AK this Saturday 2nd and I have a Thursday game too.  Lovely.

Sculpting will be a bit delayed (Romans).
I will use the time to get PBI done and tinker with AK et al.

I have written all this mainly for sympathy, but also to keep you updated on project progess.

martin :)

Sending lots of sympathy from the Midlands.

Do take it easy Martin. You're positivity is great, but we'd all like you around for a while yet. I'm still hopeful for Robin Hood, but would prefer to see you across the gaming table for many more years rather than have the stress of having to keep churning out figure ranges.

I know new ranges help to keep the lights on at Peter Pig towers but do look after yourself.

Look forward to seeing you at the WWW.

Take care of yourself, Martin. Please avoid pointless frontal assaults, at least until the docs give you the all clear.

Best wishes

As long as you're sure about Saturday I won't be offended if you don't feel up for a game or two ?
Just get yourself better !
I will phone on Friday to make sure.

Thank you for the support chaps!
No problem for saturday Miles.
I have even bought a new aeroplane for it (Piper). It can drop bombs out of the door or from the wings.
