Title: Sci fi trooper
Post by: martin goddard on September 28, 2024, 06:17:37 PM
I am kicking around some ideas here. Comment invited.

A central squashed (left to right) egg like pod that holds the man. Not much bigger than 15mm seated figure size The man/woman would be sitting down inside.
The human limbs do not extend outside the "egg" or inside the suit limbs.
Two arms with 5 claws.
Two legs with 4 claws.
Arms and legs "sheathed" to allow a lot of paint ideas.
Weapon pods in addition to the arms? Variety of.
Mountable on a flight stand of 25mm height.
Rockets and racks at back.

The egg shell and sheathing should allow some interesting paint patterns.

The game can still have humans in less armour and other flora/fauna.

The egg pods are the top hunters.

This sort of concept.  ie person inside.
Probably much smaller than the avatar ones?

I'd say "why not?". It's fantasy after all!

I like the idea of surfaces to paint interesting things on.

Its a little bit "Battletech" sounding to me.  The idea you have as shown in the link looks fun.

Anyway, I enjoy Battletech.  Its a fun game.

Bring it on.
