Title: S and A Scenics
Post by: John Watson on September 10, 2024, 06:33:34 PM
Are S and A Scenics back in business and, if so, how do you contact them? Their website has a message to say that they have had a problem with the site and it should be fixed during August. However it is still down. Does anyone have any updates or different information?

I think Simon is wanting to get back to business but the website was affected like many other wargaming company websites a few weeks ago.

No idea how it is being resolved though.

A new range of trees, palm trees and river coming! All of which most of us will find useful  :)

I've just placed an order for a box full of desert scenery from S and A Scenics.

It will double as suitable for my desert PBI and hopefully for grid based Patrols in the Sudan!

For the time and effort it takes to make these things, I can't believe how cheap Simon turns these out.

A 10-12 day turnaround so when they arrive I'll show them off.

This is what I've ordered:

4 hills
4 hills with some rough ground on
8 plain desert templates
4 desert depressions
4 desert style water/lake/oasis kind of thing!

Do they all come as 12 x 6 inch templates, Sean?

Thanks,

Nick
Most of the PP rules use 12x6 , CWB and C&K are slightly smaller
But Simon at S&A is such a good guy he will try to accommodate what ever size you would like.

He made a couple of large pieces for my 25mm Rorks Drift game and specific colours  I wanted for my PBI Pacific set.

Nick,

If you look at his website, the hills and other scenery bits come in various sizes. I just email him with my request for 12"x6" items and he invoices me with the bill.

He's very accommodating and will make bespoke items to order.

I have about 100 of his templates. A few are wearing, but overall very hardy pieces.
