You just need to paste in the image address from imgur (right-click on the image) with "[ img width=900]" in front and "[ /img]" after it (remove the spaces after the "["s in my code for it to work!).
Looking forward to seeing more of the detail in your excellent brushwork.

Thanks for trying, and sorry I couldn't post the "actual" syntax: I had tried this first, but then it gets interpreted by the Forum software as a command and messes everything up...

Well, that's weird: abusing my Admin rights I was able to modify your posts and preview the correct result. However, it then wouldn't save it.
Let me have another go at explaining it all:
a) you need to start the command line with: img within square brackets
b) and end it with: /img within square brackets
c) in between the two, you post the address of the image
d) and if you wish to modify the size of the image, you can add "width=xxx" (without the inverted commas) after the initial "img"
Which is quite possibly as clear as mud, but may help?

My Admin rights seem all OK again, so I have taken the liberty of editing your post below ["Simon's edits:" + the picture].
If you click "Modify" on your post [assuming that you have the rights to modify your own post], you should be able to see my command line to get the picture. Since this was a larger image, I went for a width of 500 to get it looking about right.
I have emailed you separately with the coding for good measure.
