Title: WW2 Far East
Post by: sjwalker51 on April 30, 2024, 09:33:47 PM
With all the excitement about the forthcoming TFL Far East supplement(s) for their Chain of Command rules, has there been any noticeable increase in orders for PP Japanese, 14th Army etc?

To date, most of my WW2 gaming has been in 20mm (sorry!) but as this will be a new 'sideshow' I'm tempted to do it in 15mm, partly because of cost and partly because the unique terrain won't take up so much room.

None that I have noticed.
But maybe there will be some sales down the line?

I don't know about Too Fat Lardies...but we played jungle games on Sunday and it encouraged to buy a 14th Army army. And I've just seen that it's on its way already  which is damn fine work by Peter Pig as it was a largish order.

Looking forward to getting them painted up and then buying a Japanese army for them to face.

The jungle day did give an opportunity for some  good scenery too.

There is something a bit special about palm trees. The table did look very nice in the photos.

They were lovely Simon and a nice change from north west Europe.

My next thoughts are now to try and do a Stalingrad type table. I'll maybe jot a few notes down for the Mill.
