Title: Civil Guard LMGs
Post by: Sean Clark on March 30, 2024, 07:01:10 PM
I think I'll need to convert some Civil Guard LMG chaps. I think so long as the figures don't have leg wrappings/putees, like pack no. 9, Republican LMGs, they'll do the job with Civil Guard heads added?

I can probably add a pack if that helps Sean?

I was pondering the same conundrum as Sean.

A pack would be lovely, Martin  :)

Yes that would be excellent and assure the purchase of a full 3 platoons of Civil Guard 😀

I've done it all wrong, Sean. I bought all the rest but just need the LMGs. I don't have so much negotiating power here!

I will get it done. It is an easy pack as I have the parts (Ithink).

Are you still intending to do this pack Martin?

I quite fancy adding a Civil Guard army to my SCW forces.

Nick

The Civil guard LMGs are being done right now. Will be two weeks before they appear.

A gap in the range that needs filling. Civil guard should be an interesting force?
I am also waiting to do the Legion at some point.

I think SCW should be more popular?

PP are probably the only 15mm company doing it. I suspect that there are 18/19mm ranges out there?  These are probably not compatible with PP.

Legion will work for Falangists too by painting the shirt blue.

A great period.
Particularly as they still have flags and unusual/distinctive  hats.

I've just realised this is actually about Civil Guard. I needed LMGs for Assault Guards...

Simon,
They are a long felt want for my Assaltos too.

Best wishes,

The Late Queen disappeared as did a Spanish producer whose name I have forgotten and SDD's Tiznao have never reappeared ; the only other 15mm manufacturers of SCW figures I can think of is Khurasan - QRF used to do some but not currently listed.
Minairons of course produce lovely vehicles, flags and aircraft.

I'm pretty sure (i.e. I'm not going to check at 11:50 pm) I used standard republican infantry for my assault guard lmg's. Just removed the tassel from the forage cap thingy that they wear and painted them a different colour. There are contemporary photos of assault guards wearing forage cap thingys.
