I think this latest batch of ECW generals is the best yet - particularly in terms of poses.

My personal favourites are Goring, Haselrig and Maurice.

Lovely stuff!

Damn fine figures Martin. Possibly your best ever mounted.
I have just about finished painting an ECW army. Just starting on the generals now and then need to do some half bases and casualties.
Perhaps we need a Piggy day at Poole or I need a trip down to PPHQ.

Please add to this list if you are  happy to play some ECW at Entoyment or similar on a   battle day??

I'd be happy to give it a go.

I have some old Mike Models figures but not enough for an RoF army.

Not a problem.
I have several spare armies. Even those horrible royalists.

Love the Heselrigge figure!
I have to agree there's some lovely animation among all these general figures.

When cannons are roaring and bullets are flying, he that would honour win must not fear dicing!

I'm sitting on the Hopton Heath battlefield eating lunch. I've just been to work to recieve a medal, so I'm feeling contemplative regarding the last days of my service which finishes next week.

I'd love another ECW day at Entoyment. Hope I haven't missed it since this thread was last posted on. My new generals need to do some work!

I have nascent ECW/TYW armies (judicious flag swapping). Couple of units not suitable, i.e. Spanih style tercios and lots of TYW cuirassiers. However, when I finish this lot is anyone's guess.

Climbed up to the Hopton Heath battlefield six or seven years ago whilst on a canal trip. Had my trusty little Hopton Heath booklet with me at the time.

I'm going to write a scenario for the Mill.

That sounds an excellent idea, as my trusty little Hopton Heath booklet is no longer with me.

Fortunately there is quite a bit of information online.
