Title: Game 2nd March Wessex Wargames Society
Post by: John Watson on February 10, 2024, 08:43:25 AM
Martin and I are proposing a game or two of PBI or SCW at Wessex Wargames Society on 2nd March.
For those who don't know it is at Colbert Memorial Hall near Ashurst and Cotton in the New Forest. It runs from 10am to 6pm. First visit is free. Subsequent visits are £6 for members and £8 for visitors (I think). If there are enough of us we'll do two tables. Let me know on here if you are interested.

2 tables?
I think several of us have "complete" set ups (5x3 cloth, 3 objectives, templates, scenery)

As my initial thoughts on the next project were going to be a WW1 Cossack forces are now washed away (Too expensive - will explain if requested) its now down to a choice between SCW or Mexico. Played Mexico a few times but not yet had the pleasure of SCW. Should help me make my mind up..... maybe, possibly, hopefully......

Derek,

If it helps, the core rule mechanisms for SCW and Mexico are very similar  :D
