Title: ECW Generals
Post by: John Watson on January 08, 2024, 04:47:00 PM
Hi Martin, will the generals be on sale soon. I see the first three are listed on the website but no ordering buttons yet.

Thanks John.
They should be out on Wednesday 10th January.
We are waiting for the flag bearer mould.
Each general will come with flag bearer (plenty of variants).

That all sounds very promising. I could use them in ECW games, with the TYW armies standing in.

The new video shows off the lovely dashing Charles and that scallywag Cromwell. Plus others of course. Lovely work Martin. I've ordered the lot!

Another stealthy PP video post!

I did Google Peter Pig YouTube to look for it, and it came up with a bunch of Chinese gaming videos.

I think I've now managed to subscribe to The One True Pig, and look forward to notifications in future.

Should we start a new channel (or whatever these things are called) on the RFCM Forum for Peter Pig videos?

Thank you for the support chaps.
They take much longer to make than normal figures, but I hope they sell well.

There will be another 5 English commanders and then some Scots.
There will be a break in these due to other "must do" jobs.

Very nice work, Martin - nice to see them on the website (I'll post them here if you'd care to send the pictures over).

Who's you favourite so far, folks? I think mine might be Hopton. But then Charles I looks suitably smug. And Fairfax seems very business-like. Decisions, decisions...

No Boye for Rupert?  ;)  :o

Boye is vital. A house rule at my club was always that the first hit on Rupert was taken by Boye.

Can't find the video. I just get the Oriental things or Peppa Pig. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Thanks Simon. All very good. I'm looking forward to the leader of the Northern Horse, Lord Goring, who should be waving a bottle about.

Maybe a lesson not to train one's dog to go chasing after big black ball-shaped objects...?

Andy, you've done it all wrong. You're supposed to buy multiple command stands of figures  ;D

I've had tue notification that they arrive in Shropshire tomorrow. There's certainly going to be a quarrel as Hopton and Waller are in the same parcel. Hopefully the will have sorted out their differences by the time I open the package.

But weren't they actually the best of friends, who ended up on opposing sides, like Armistead and Hancock in another civil war.

Yes. The joke may have worked better if I'd used Cromwell and Charles who are also in the parcel.

As I type...it's just landed on my door mat.
