Miles, Richard and martin had a day out at Entoyment.
Two games.
Game 1
martin and Miles commanding an English 1066 army.
Richard had the Normans.
The Normans were attacking a line of hills occupied by the English( Seen that before).
Due to my unfortunate D6 rolling we had 6 units off table as reinforcements.
I was Harold and went off the table a few times in retreat. Miles' men held the line and mine didn't. So probably Miles' fault we lost?
The Normans did a circuit of the English lines, meeting up at the back for a pause.
Game 2
Richard and martin commanding an Egyptian army.
Miles commanding a Macedonian army.
The story goes like this.
The defending Macedonians advanced and killed the Egyptian army.
A big Macedonian win.
I gave both generals superb tactical advice and we got slaughtered both times.
Probably to do with the scenery choice?
It really was a good day of gaming.
Thanks to Miles and Richard.
martin :)
You're clearly a tactical genius Martin. Unfortunately you're little metal men were the ones to let you down.
I suggest detention and 100 lines for them.
I do like a succinct battle report.
Well done chaps - sounds like a good day's gaming.
