Title: Two games in one day 9th October 2023

John came down to PPHQ.
We played 2 games of CK.

Game 1. Thracians versus Vikings  A draw. Thracians lost the fights but got around the back of the advancing Vikings. The Vikings were tough to kill but could not cover enough zones.

Game 2. Hoplites versus Successors. The Successors bashed the hoplites but didd not take enough zones. The pikes proved  nasty to fight.  Ouch!
Win to the hoplites.

I am enjoying the games, but am ever fearful of finding some huge whoops?

Yes two good games. My trusty Vikings once again slaughtered what was in front of them but did not have enough front to complete a win. I think it was a narrow win for Martin.
The second game saw me using Seleucids. I love the army for its variety, but hate it for the same reason. There is just too much choice.
Roll on the Parthians (half complete).

I had two good wins using Egyptians,

1st against Johns Vikings
2nd against Simons Romans
